Slope Access Management

The following measures have been implemented to ensure only Whitesheet RFC members and their guests use the slopes for model soaring.

  • A notebook has been placed in the hut at the Red Lion with kind permission of the landlord. Please could everyone make the effort to note in it each time you fly, and encourage others to do so.
  • To make it easier to identify our club members on the slopes, we will be issuing membership cards, which will be sent out by Den Larking in the next 6-8 weeks.

How to renew your club and BMFA membership.

As you should be aware, all modelers flying at White Sheet must have adequate insurance. This is a stipulation of our licence with the National Trust. This requirement is fulfilled for White Sheet RFC Members via individual membership of the BMFA.

Purchasing BMFA membership via White Sheet RFC.

If you are purchasing your BMFA membership via the club, please enclose two cheques. One made payable to the BMFA for the appropriate fee (see BMFA web site) and one made payable to Whitesheet RFC for the appropriate fee ( £10 for adults, see application form).

For BMFA Country members or with BMFA membership via another club.

Flyers joining or rejoining White Sheet RFC who have joined the BMFA through other organizations or as country members must send photocopies of their current BMFA membership cards to the Treasurer. This must be accompanied by a cheque for the appropriate club fee (£10, see application form) made out to WSRFC. If you are not a member of the BMFA for the year 2010, you must not fly at White Sheet.

Visitors

Visitors must carry proof of current insurance with them when flying at White Sheet. Please see the visitors section of our web page.
